Designations & Awards

  • In 2003, Jon Pascoe attained the designation of Certified Human Resources Professional, became a Certified Management Consultant in 2007 and was recognized as a Fellow in 2012. Fellowship is awarded to a very small subset of senior practitioners who demonstrate superior competencies.
  • In 2008, Jon was awarded the designation of Adjunct Assistant Professor of Health Human Resources at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. He proposed, designed and on three occasions in 2008 and 2009 delivered the first senior graduate level course in health human resources at the University of Alberta’s School of Public Health.
  • In 1996, as the Director of Alberta’s Emergency Health Services, Jon and his team received the Premier’s Award of Excellence – the second year this prestigious award was offered.
  • In 1992, he received the designation Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Services Executives (CCHSE). This was a two-year intensive course dealing with quality improvement, health legislation and policies, finance, management, audits and Board governance. Jon was the Chair (1996 – 1997) of the Northern Alberta Chapter of the Canadian College.

Jon consulted to the College of Dental Assistants of Alberta in 2013 and 2014.  In late 2015, he received the President’s Commendation.
